First 3 Piece Wheel Set

This blog will be a little bit shorter then normal. So I shot my first 3 piece wheel set during my first year of coating. The customer brought me the faces in for a simple flat black coating. The barrel was just going to be polished by him, but he wanted to do something different on the lips.

After some consideration he landed on a sexy bronze color as you can see in the picture (although i cant remember the exact color name). Any who, having never shot just lips before i had no idea how much powder to order. In my infinite wisdom I guessed. I was very very close to being very very wrong. I ordered a half pound of powder and used every bit of it to get all 4 lips coated.

In the end the customer was happy and i got away with a near miss.
