Furniture In Any Color
One of the more fun projects we get to help with is furniture. Both outdoor lawn furniture and sometimes even indoor furniture. This table in the picture for example was dropped off to us as a plain grey interior table perfect for dining in a small apartment or a breakfast nook. The owner however wanted it refreshed and given some new life with a color that was something different. Luckily she came to the right place.
When she came to drop the table off and pick her colors she was amazed at the color selection we had in stock (over 30 colors in stock ready to go) she quickly picked a grey for the table top as to not go too wild with the eating surface. However, for the base she wanted something more fun. She chose this wild greenish yellow with a matte finish as she felt it complimented the grey well and was a very fun conversation starter.
We began the process by disassembling the table so that all the pieces were individual and ready for stripping, also there were some plastic pieces separating some of the parts that would be destroyed with our coating and stripping process. Next we put all the base pieces into the strip tank to strip the original coating off and put the table top into the sandblaster to remove the coating and not have any chemicals on it we didn't want. After everything was stripped and prepped for coating we applied a primer on all the pieces to help with the longevity of the finish and then topped everything off with the colors she had chosen. After a final bake it was time to reassemble and then take some pictures and videos for social media. The customer was extremely happy with the finished product and couldn't wait to get it home and eat on it.
